The woodlands will be stuffed with creations by local artists, members, crafters, youth groups and more, this year with the theme “Hallowings,” to celebrate the pollinators of Glass in Flight.

Learning how to sow, grow, and harvest microgreens at home can feel daunting. These small but nutritious food sources can be sowed and harvested in as little as 10 days! In this class, you will discover all these little plants can provide for your nutritional needs as well as what it takes to grow them at home.

Supplement your life science, botanical, and environmental studies curriculum with a visit to the Atlanta Botanical Garden, Gainesville. Walk through the garden and visit our curiosity tables in the Event Room to expand your knowledge of all things plants. Self-guided materials will be available in the event room. Drop-in tours through the garden with one of our horticulturists will be at 10 and 11 a.m.

This class includes an embellishment kit with registration and is perfect for beginners eager to learn more about this creative outlet. No experience is required! Feel free to bring a snack to enjoy while working if you choose.
