Designed for ages 7 – 14: Supplement your life science, botanical and environmental studies curriculum with a visit to the Atlanta Botanical Garden, Gainesville. Explore the woodlands and discover the diverse plants, habitats and natural processes found throughout this unique landscape. Students will observe plant adaptations, investigate relationships between living things and their environment, and experience seasonal changes in the Garden firsthand. Grade-specific, self-guided materials will be available in the Visitor Center. Volunteers will be stationed throughout the Garden to introduce students to interesting plants, wildlife and natural phenomena.
