Join us every Wednesday in July from 6-9pm for Gainesville’s Hot Summer Nights on the Historic Downtown Square!
Hot Summer nights are all about celebrating our hometown, with homegrown fun! As the sun goes down, head downtown for dinner, shopping, and live music. Plan to bring your own lawn chairs or picnic blankets or snag a spot on a bench in the park.
From 6-9 pm, enjoy local Gainesville vendors along with a local charity that we’ll be supporting/celebrating for the evening!
From 7-9 pm, the Gainesville Micro Music festival will provide music from local North Georgia Artists.

All Parking Decks are FREE in Gainesville!

Is this event handicap accessible?
- Yes, there is handicap parking available in the Main Street Parking Deck, located at 301 Main St.
Can attendees bring coolers?
- Yes, you are welcome to bring coolers, but please no glass or alcohol. This event is intended to help support downtown businesses. We encourage you to purchase beverages, snacks and meals from one or more of the nearby restaurants or food vendors on site!
This event is presented by Main Street Gainesville, a program focusing on economic vitality through Historic Preservation in our downtown commercial districts.

We look forward to celebrating a local charity each evening during our Hot Summer Nights events. One 10×10 tent space will be designated for this charity to showcase what they are doing to make an impact in the community. Musician Inquiries:
The ‘Gainesville Micro Music Festival®’ is hosted by a hometown musician and production artist, David Cramer. David has trademarked a unique, vetted style of an Open Mic Night for communities around the Atlanta Area. We’re thrilled to feature North Georgia artists during our Hot Summer Nights event. If you’re interested in participating, please send an email with a link to an online demo video to: dcraver@openmic.us. Musicians will be given a 15-minute performance slot. A PA will be provided. This is a non-paid event.
