Sunday, April 28, 2024 from 1-4pm, join us on the Midland Greenway for Skate the City!
Due to construction, we will have the event concentrated around the retention pond and the Gainesville Skate park.
Bring your skate boards, roller skates, roller blades, bikes, scooters, strollers… if it rolls without a motor, roll on down for some fun! (Tricycles? Unicycles? We might have giveaways for groups with themed outfits, unique rides, and more!)
The Skate Park will feature Carniceria Tapatia, Midland Ice Cream Social, and a DJ!
The Best Trick Contest will take place at the Skate Park!
2023 was our first year back after the inaugural event in 2019. We look forward to the people of Gainesville gathering outside together in the spring of 2024 to enjoy all the Greenway has to offer.
Experience the public art scattered along the way and visit Gainesville’s recently installed Inclusive Playground, Dog Park, and Fitness Court. This is a great opportunity to explore one of Gainesville’s newest greenspace destinations!
