With miles of scenic hiking and mountain biking trails winding through the forest, there are plenty of ways to explore the preserve. Poultry Park is in downtown Gainesville and is the perfect spot to visit before or after you dine in the Historic Gainesville Square. This is located right off Jesse Jewell Parkway and pays homage to Gainesville’s significant place in the poultry industry. When you go to poultry park you will see a 25-foot marble obelisk monument with a chicken placed high in the sky.
