Gainesville Civic Center

Gainesville Parks and Recreation offers many facility options, including the Gainesville Civic Center with six rental areas and a 7,000-square-foot ballroom. The Martha Hope Cabin features a rustic style cabin setting, and the Fair Street Neighborhood Center offers seating for 30 to 100 guests. All can be booked through Gainesville Parks and Recreation.

Lake Lanier Olympic Park

The Lake Lanier Olympic Venue was built for the 1996 Olympic Rowing and Canoe/Kayak Competitions. The original timing tower remains today and is the last remaining venue from the 1996 Olympic Games that continues to be used for its original purpose.

Two clubs operate out of the park: Lanier Canoe and Kayak Club and Lake Lanier Rowing Club. Both clubs host events and offer competitive and recreational programs.

Lanier Technical College – Ramsey Conference Center

The Lanier Technical College Wilbur & Dixie Ramsey Conference Center is the perfect location for guests and hosts alike.

With facilities including 14,000 square feet of ballroom space and an executive boardroom with additional classrooms available, the Lanier Technical College Wilbur & Dixie Ramsey Conference Center is more than a great alternative to downtown Atlanta.

The conference center has 11 versatile meeting rooms that can be configured for events from two to 1,500 attendees. We can host one large meeting or many small meetings or a combination of both.  If you are planning a trade show or corporate meeting, the conference center offers a range of services including audio visual services, wireless internet, video conferencing, laptop rentals and more. For fundraisers and social events, it offers flexible options to meet your needs.

Left Nut Brewing Company

Left Nut Brewing Company produces craft beers and ciders of all types and flavors. The brewery is located in the historic Chicopee Mill industrial area in Gainesville, Georgia and is available for rental for special events.
