Taking place during the final week of National Hispanic Heritage Month, we’ll explore how Appalachian and Hispanic cultures both possess incredibly rich tied directly to the autumn harvest. Mountain settlers and Hispanic communities used storytelling, nature, and symbolism to explain the world around them. Throughout the day, students can rotate through hands-on academic and artistic stations.
