Forum Lecture Series: The History of the Girl Scouts – NEGA History Center

March 12 @ 7:00 pm

Join Libba Beaucham as she presents the history of the Girl Scouts on its 112th anniversary. Libba has portrayed Girl Scouts Founder Juliette Gordon Low for thousands of students across Georgia through the Northeast Georgia History Center’s on-site and digital programs. In this presentation, she will share the fascinating story of how Girl Scouts began, the impact of Girl Scouts on the homefront during World War I, and how the organization has grown evolved since 1912.

Our Forum Lecture series is intended for adults, but Girl Scouts and young folks ages 12+ are encouraged to join! Admission is free for Members and $5 for Non-Members.
