DESCRIPTION:Lanier Canoe and Kayak Club presents the 28th annual Polar Bear Plunge on January 1\, 2026! \nSay goodbye to 2026 and dive into the 2026 New Year at our 28th Annual Polar Bear Plunge. This annual event is a fund-raising activity for LCKC so join us for a unique experience on the lake! This event draws thrill seekers of all walks of life to plunge themselves into the cool waters of Lake Lanier\, to bring in 2026. Festivities begin at 10:00 a.m.\, paddle arrival at 10 a.m.\, plunge arrival 11:30 a.m. and will start at 12 pm on the LCKC docks. Hot chocolate and other refreshments available. We will also be having a 50/50 raffle. Come join us New Year’s Day for a great event and exciting auction items! Awards for best costume and best jump will be given! (IN ORDER TO GUARANTEE SHIRT SIZE\, YOU MUST REGISTER BY MIDNIGHT 12/15/25)
