We invite you to join us for an afternoon of adventure and learning! \nYour students will learn how to navigate and identify like some of Georgia’s earliest explorers. \nTheme: Early Explorers \nActivities to include: \n\nIdentification: scat\, photos\, guidebooks. etc. with “scavenger hunt”\nWay finding: Guided at 1:15 and 2:15- how to use map\, compass\, etc.\nHike using way finding skills and maps of campus and trail connections\nMap making: create a map with key components (compass rose\, scale\, legend\, north arrow\, etc.)\n\n\nRecommended ages: Kindergarten through 6th grade\n\n\nTime: 1:00-3:00 with guided activities at 1:15 and 2:15\n\n\nAdmission: $10/child\, $50/family (5+)\, members free\n\n\nPreregistration encouraged\, walk-ins welcome based on availability\n\n\nThis program will take place rain or shine.
