Lola Schaefer, author of more than 280 published books for children, will guide participants through the process of developing a character-driven or nonfiction picture book from a marketable idea, through first draft, and revisions. Attendees (18+) will practice several aspects of craft as it relates to both genres. By the completion of this two-session workshop, writers will have the tools they need to craft their own picture books independently.
